The Guardian reports that Tory rebels are "not convinced" by what it calls a "U-turn" in offering the vote, with ex-attorney general Dominic Grieve saying a verbal assurance was not enough. Pro-European backbencher Anna Soubry said she and some of her colleagues were still willing to go against the government as Mr Davis’ announcement gave them no say on a "no deal" scenario.
