Finishing high school is an important time in any teenager’s life, as they prepare to move on to work or college and grow up just that little bit more.

In the USA, it’s tradition for teens entering their final year in high school to take ‘senior pictures’ as mementos to mark the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.

Usually, they’ll pose with a huge grin on their face in a charming photograph meant to show how much they’ve grown since kindergarten.

But one young woman has ended up with rather more amusing images for the family album after she was photobombed by a naked man.

Seventeen-year-old Jillian Henry told Oregon Live how she had been doing a casual photo shoot against a scenic backdrop, with friend Elena Nesbit snapping away on her camera, when a fully-naked man emerged from the bushes on the other side of the water behind her.

And he even had his dog in tow.

Jillian posted the offending images on her Twitter account with the caption “love my senior pics” and they soon went viral, getting retweeted over 24,000 times within a couple of days.

She told Oregon Live how she “never expected it to get that big,” adding “It’s kinda crazy when you think about how many people have seen that picture of you and that’s it’s a topic of conversation across the country.”

Why was the man naked and strolling around? Well, nobody knows. But millions of people have now seen him baring his flesh.

It’s certainly one to cause a gasp when relatives are flipping through the family album – and a way to be remembered as she finishes high school (although perhaps not for the best reasons).
