A man with an enormous cyst on his face undergoes a graphic amateur extraction in this gloriously gruesome home video .
The patient, named Aaron, is seen lying on his back with a towel covering half his face and a huge, bulbous pimple covered in iodine rising up from his right cheek.
He looks nervous as his girlfriend Lila gently pricks the top of the cyst with a razor blade and squeezes – causing fluid to burst out towards her.
But that is only a precursor of what’s to come during the horrendous, 10-minute procedure.
After Lila makes a deeper incision, a seemingly endless stream of thick, brown pus streams out of Aaron’s face like toothpaste from a tube.
He is clearly in some discomfort as he closes his eyes and swallows hard, trying not to think about the egg-sized lump being squeezed out of his cheek.
Finally, Lila removes the cyst’s enormous sac, leaving just a flap of deflated skin behind.
The excruciating video has been viewed more than a million times by spot-popping fanatics on YouTube.
Writing beneath the video, Lila apologises for the lack of audio, claiming YouTube flagged up a copyright issue with music playing in the background.
She added, reassuringly: “Please don’t comment and finger-wag that he should’ve gone to a doctor or that I didn’t know what I was doing.
“Going to a doctor wasn’t possible and I knew what I was doing. Mostly.”
