Three people have died and eight others are injured after a shooting at a Rite Aid warehouse in Aberdeen, Maryland, after a woman opened fire this morning.
The shooting took place in the Liberty Building on Thursday at 9.09am where around 30 people work.
It is part of a larger center where around 1,000 are employed.
WBAL-TV, a local network in Maryland, reports that the shooter is a woman who is now in hospital.
Police have refused to confirm anything other than that ‘multiple’ people are dead and ‘multiple’ are injured.

The business park is in Perryman which is 27 miles north east of Baltimore
At a press conference on Thursday, Harford County Sheriff Jeffrey R. Gahler said the shooter was in a critical condition. They used a handgun to carry out the attack.
‘There are multiple wounded and multiple fatalities.
‘Based on what we know, the lone suspect is in custody and is in critical condition at a local hospital.
‘It appears to be a single weapon used, a handgun. No shots were fired by any law enforcement officers,’ he said.
The warehouse is at the intersection of Spesutia Road and Perryman Road.
Nearby are other businesses, a school, a church and an apartment complex.
Rite Aid confirmed that the shooting was in one of their buildings and said they learned about it from someone inside.
As the shooting unfolded, terrified workers text their loved ones to tell them there was a shooter in the building.
Alexi Scharmann told local station WBLA-TV that her mother, who works in the Rite Aid building, sent her and her sibling a message to tell her she was hiding.

At a press conference on Thursday, Sheriff Jeffrey Gahler said the shooter was in the hospital
They read ‘I love you both more than you will ever know. There is a shooter in the building.
‘I am hiding. I love you.
‘Be good and take care of daddy and the pets if something should happen,’ she said.
She had to wait another hour before learning that her mother was safe and had escaped.
Roads have been closed and trains which stop nearby are also being halted.
Maryland Governor Larry Hogan said he is closely monitoring the horrific shooting.’
‘Our prayers are with all those impacted, including our first responders.
‘The State stands ready to offer any support,’ he said on Twitter.
Police continue to work at the scene.
