‘I wanted my skin as hydrated, plump, even and as glowing as possible, so about a month out, I committed to three treatments a week and saw results immediately,’ Nicole (pictured) said

These included treatments like a once-monthly deep cleanse, microdermabrasion to exfoliate, buff and polish, lactic acid and niacinamide or enzyme peels, alongside vitamin infusions and light therapy.

On Melanie’s website, microdermabrasion is described as ‘an essential treatment for congested, acne prone, dull and devitalised complexions’.

On the morning of her wedding, Nicole also had Melanie herself come over before the ceremony for a ‘quick facial’.

While this is something the fashion personality said she would never recommend if you don’t know exactly what the results will be like, she added that she felt ‘radiant’ as a result.

NICOLE’S BODY

Any bride wanting to get in shape for their big day will know the pressures that come with fitting into and looking great in your dress.

This was not a pressure that Nicole Warne was immune to.

The 28-year-old told Into The Gloss that she has always been to the gym three times a week for a mix of Crossfit, cardio and weights – and then four weeks before the wedding, she started working with a personal trainer ‘to target specific areas’.

‘I wanted to tone arms, armpits, abs and butt,’ she said. ‘I committed to three classes a week, plus two private sessions, focusing on lifting heavier weights.’

Nicole also started to attend private Pilates classes with trainer-to-the-stars, Kirsten King, who works at Fluidform in Sydney’s Waterloo.

Finally, she would have Epsom salt baths once a week, alongside remedial massages and meditation.

Nicole continued this in the lead-up to the wedding, and then one month out she also cut refined sugars, alcohol and wholegrains.

Nicole also said she saw a naturopath from Ovvio Organics in Sydney, who made her ‘some Chinese herbal tonics to help get my skin glowing’.

The bride had a cut two weeks before the wedding, a lash lift in Bondi and teeth whitening. She also had Invisalign to make her teeth straight for the big day

Finally, it wouldn’t be a wedding if Nicole’s face wasn’t looking picture perfect.
