ITV’s high rating celebrity torture show I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here will be back on screens very soon.
Returning for an impressive SEVENTEENTH series later this winter, the show is attracting a wide range of names for the star studded line-up.
The reality contest sees familiar faces literally parachute into an Australian jungle where they must survive devious trials in order to be crowned the winner.
Both Ant and Dec will soon be returning Down Under with another batch of potentially well known faces to put them through bush tucker trials and subject them to the public vote – here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming new series….
On Friday morning Brighton-based YouTube star Jack Maynard was confirmed as the first contestant to land in Australia.
Twenty-two year old Jack is heading into the jungle after he landed at Brisbane airport on Friday morning.
From there he’ll be whisked to a hotel to lay low before I’m A Celebrity’s launch on November 19.
He was spotted wearing black jogging bottoms, a black jacket and a beanie hat, along with sunglasses and some gold headphones around his neck.
Jack, 22, is singer Conor’s younger brother – who often makes guest appearances alongside him.
And now it appears he could become a sensation on TV as well as online.
The star has over 1.1million subscribers to his YouTube channel – which should increase even more after an appearance on the hit ITV show.
Former Chelsea captain Dennis Wise was confirmed as the latest campmate after being snapped arriving at Brisbane Airport as he wheeled his suitcase along.
The 50-year-old former Premier ace appeared very chipper as he grinned at paps while he made his way to a cab.
He was dressed very comfortably in a pair of tracksuit bottoms and a hoodie, with a Louis Vuitton satchel slung over a shoulder.
Dennis played alongside Vinnie Jones during the eighties and nineties and was known for his fiery temper.
ITV bosses are likely thrilled with his signing, believing that he will be serious value for money.
Coronation Street favourite Jennie McAlpine has touched down in Australia to cause some trouble Down Under.
The 33-year-old actress, who plays the lovable Fiz Stape, has been on the bosses’ wish list for some time.
Jennie is reported to have been persuaded to swap the cobbles for a host of creepy crawlies – with Corrie bosses rescheduling filming for Fiz’s storyline to allow Jennie to bring some drama to the camp.
Asked about going into the jungle, she joked: I am going to the Neighbours set, that is my first port of call!
And she was quick to confirm she would return to Corrie in the New Year, saying: Yeah, this is just a little holiday. What is happening to Fiz whilst I am away? That is a good question.
Hollyoaks’ hunk Jamie Lomas , 42, will be putting on his cork hat and heading into the jungle.
Jamie was previously married to Coronation Street ‘s Kym Marsh from 2012-2014 and, according to The Sun, an insider said: “Jamie is a good-looking single guy so they are hoping sparks will fly with one of the single girls in the camp.
“There will be plenty of gorgeous girls in there he could end up hitting it off with.
“And the bosses know viewers love a jungle romance. Jamie is a really down-to-earth, funny bloke but also doesn’t suffer fools. So they think he’s a great signing.”
The father-of-three said, I’m really excited to be here, and smiled at photographers before jumping into a waiting car at Brisbane airport.
Vanessa shot to fame as part of chart topping band The Saturdays – who released their first single in 2008 and went on hiatus in 2014.
Since taking time out from the group, Vanessa has been working on solo music material – while ITV producers are said to be keen to have her on the show.
Ahead of the singer’s jungle arrival, she said she wasn’t actually looking forward to the gross side of the jungle.
Vanessa, 28, admitted she is terrified of the jungle bugs, snakes and spiders she will encounter.
She said: I am really excited to be here, it is my first time in Australia, I can’t wait to take part.
I am scared of everything though, so I am also a bit nervous. It’s a bit of a mixture of nerves and excitement.
Olympic champion and world-famous boxer Amir Khan has had a torrid year, having faced down a feud with his family (now mended), a split from his pregnant wife Faryal Makhdoom (also now mended) and a public Twitter meltdown aimed at Anthony Joshua.
He’s signed up to I’m A Celeb to “stay out of trouble” and vowed to stay in shape during his time Down Under by going on “gentle jogs”.
The Made In Chelsea babe is best known for her friendship with Sam Thompson in the E4 drama series. She more often goes by nickname Toff from her West London pals.
She might not stray very far from Chelsea, but the 22-year-old reality star is said to be ready to brace herself for a trip to the Australian Outback.
When asked if she had brought lots of bikinis, Georgia, 22, nodded and pointed at her three bags of luggage saying I’ve packed a lot.
But she added: Have I been working out? Not enough!”
Although she didn’t find love in Celebs Go Dating this year, Georgia was a huge hit with viewers and I’m A Celeb bosses will be hoping she works her magic on the ITV show.
And they reckon she could make TV gold thanks to her warm demeanour and outgoing personality.
The 77-year-old former Conservative MEP and father of Boris Johnson touched down in Brisbane Airport on Monday morning as the eighth celebrity confirmation.
He revealed he’s “excited” to be taking part and I’m A Celeb bosses are said to be hopeful Stanley will provoke lots of debate around the campfire.
As always – a frenzy of speculation has been bubbling about who will participate in I’m A Celeb series 17, months before the show is even due to start filming.
The usual mix of TV, sport and music stars are being tipped to jet to Australia to willingly put themselves though tasks such as being covered in bugs or eating kangaroo penis.
Here’s who else is rumoured to be heading into the jungle…
Lauren Goodger wants to get one over on her old TOWIE rival Lucy Mecklenburgh by targeting her new boyfriend on I’m A Celebrity, pals have claimed.
According to Closer magazine, newly single Lauren is planning to go Down Under and make a beeline for Lucy’s new partner Ryan Thomas, who is also rumoured to be joining the I’m A Celeb line-up later this month.
It comes after Lauren split from her jailbird boyfriend Joey Morrison this summer after vowing that he was The One.
So Lauren could be ready for a bit of fun.
She may have tried it once before and didn’t like it, but Gemma could be ready for round two of jungle actoin.
The GC is reportedly in talks to make her IAC comeback this year, after gaining a surge in popularity this year thanks to her memays.
According to the Sun, host Dec is backing her all the way.
“She’s riding on the crest of a wave right now […] and everyone is a bit obsessed with her,” a source told the paper.
“She in talks to sign up but it’s early days. Nothing is set in stone yet.”
Former England rugby star Ben Cohen could become one of those sporting celebrities that slowly works their way around all the trashy celeb reality shows.
He has already slipped into some sequins to appear on Strictly Come Dancing, quizzed into lycra for The Jump and is now said to be in the running to star on I’m A Celeb
“Ben is determined to be his best in the jungle as work has dried up for him in recent years – he has gone vegan and been working out lots,” a source exclusively told Mirror Online.
“He is hinting to pals about a project Down Under – and teasing his family about the jungle.”
Vanessa might not be the only member of The Saturday’s as Frankie says she has been inspired by husband Wayne Bridge to give the bush a go after he featured previously.
“I think now Wayne’s done it and he loved it and he said he would do it again, it kind of makes me feel positive that I would enjoy it,” Frankie exclusively told Mirror Online.
But the 28 year old admits she’d be terrible at the bushtucker trials – especially any involving putting something in her mouth.
Former England manager Sam Allardyce has reportedly been offered a six-figure fee to sign up to I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here.
Allardyce and ITV bosses are said to be in talks after wooing him to join the 17th series of the show with the hefty sum.
They are absolutely sure he would be a fantastic character to have in the jungle. He would be terrific, as you can imagine,” a source shared – but it is unclear if he will take the bait.

Speculation is rife that Gogglebox star Sandra Martin will be heading into the jungle after hinting she has signed a mysterious ‘big money’ TV contract.
The star had been a professional couch potato for Channel 4’s Gogglebox since 2013, but sensationally quit the show in 2017 – leaving the door open for her to appear on other shows.
I am gong to earn big money this year. I got a contract with a big TV show I am not allowed to talk about. When I was on Gogglebox, I could only work for them. But everyone wants me now that I have left, she told the Mail on Sunday in August.
I’m A Celeb was criticised by some in 2016 when fellow Goggleboxx star Scarlett Moffatt entered the jungle with many thinking she wasn’t famous enough to be branded a celebrity – but she ultimately won the show.
Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher says he has already been approached to star on the reality show – and fans are keen for him to say yes and get fellow ex-plater Gary Neville to sign up too.
Jamie shared an email online that showed the offer – with the text reading: “ITV have been in touch to see if you would consider going into ‘I’m a Celeb get me out of here’ I’m pretty sure it would be impossible with your work schedule.”
Fans on Twitter encouraged him to say yes – with one tweeting: Bring Gary with you and this could be top quality telly.
Former actress Koo Stark is said to be on the I’m A Celeb producers’ hit list – with hopes she will spill details about her past love, Prince Andrew.
The American star is believed to have enjoyed a romance with Prince Andrew until the early 1980s and was down to appear on the show in 2007 before dropping out last minute.
“Koo is a brilliant booking. Everyone loves the royals, so what better than getting someone who actually dated one? a source close to the show said in August.
After becoming something of a villain on Love Island due to his bad treatment of Camilla Thurlow , Jonny Mitchell could be back on screens to cause drama in the I’m A Celeb camp.
Reports emerged that he could be in the running for the 2017 series just days after Love Island ended in July.
“Bosses said he would be the perfect hunk for the show and have asked him to come for a meeting, a source revealed in August – with Jonny tweeting about the speculation too.
Jonny wouldn’t be the only Love Island star to potentially end up in the jungle – Mike Thalassitis is also said to have been considered.
It is believed ITV execs are keen to sign up Love Island rejects in order to create extra buzz about I’m A Celeb and to attract a younger audience.
“But reality stars create more social media buzz and also attract younger viewers. Mike is having early talks but the fact he’s even being considered shows a real change of tack, a source told The Sun in August.
Star Wars and Line of Duty actor Daniel Mays is reportedly being chased to feature in the hit ITV reality show.
However the star appears reluctant to throw away his promising Hollywood career to end up as a washed up reality reject.
“I have been constantly asked to be on I’m A Celeb. But it’s just not for me, I’m afraid, he told You’re Welcome magazine.
Famous for being the wife of footballer Jamie Vardy, Rebekah could be leaving her hubby and child at home to embark on an Aussie adventure.

I’ve just been asked if I’ll go back in the Jungle again. Because that was cut short…and never say never, you know? he told the Radio Times earlier this year.
Former TOWIE beauty Danielle Armstrong could be heading to the jungle – with producers thinking she will attract an army of viewers.
A source close to the show told The Sun back in February that Danny would be a perfect camp mate.
“She’s fun, she’ll be compelling viewing, she’s a pin-up for the boys and a real girl’s girl for the girls, the source gushed.
I’m A Celeb producers want to create something of a record by roping in Ryan Thomas to the show as his brother Adam appeared previously.
They think that viewers that championed Adam in 2016 will tune in to see if Ry can do better.
“Ryan would be superb in the jungle and there has never been a family member following a family member into the outback ever in all the series, a source explained.
According to reports, Coronation Street veteran Julie is desperate to do I’m A Celeb – but has walked away for a slightly unusual reason.
Turns out the actress rejected all offers after she found out she was not allowed to smoke on the 23-hour plane journey from the UK to Australia.
According to the Daily Star, her addiction was something she couldn’t kick for the day it would take to make the journey – although is said to have offered to travel Down Under by BOAT (which time would now not allow).
