Homeless man with special needs found stabbed to death in park had ONE HUNDRED separate wounds

A homeless man with special needs who was found stabbed to death in a park had more than a hundred separate wounds on his body, a post mortem has revealed.

Vulnerable Adam Muldoon is feared to have been murdered after hanging out with a gang of violent thugs.

A teenager has now handed himself in to police probing the 23-year-old’s brutal death, the Irish Mirror reports.

Adam was found with stab and slash wounds to his throat and neck in Butler’s Park or Jobstown Park area of Tallaght, South Dublin on Saturday morning.

It is believed Adam, who suffered from cerebral palsy was living rough in the area for some time, had been socialising with a gang of young thugs.

A source said He was a harmless young man who was being bullied by this young gang of thugs.

It seems he was looking for company and they took advantage of this. The theory is that at least one of the gang, who was drunk and drugged up, attacked him with a knife.

He stabbed and slashed at his throat and left him for dead.

This was a barbaric attack – it was a frenzied, hateful assault.

It is understood a postmortem found Adam suffered upwards of 100 separate wounds, one of which slashed his throat. The source added Yesterday morning a boy handed himself into Tallaght Garda Station for questioning – he is 17.

He was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and can be held for a maximum of 24 hours without being charged.

It is understood the youth has a long history with gardai.

His Facebook page contains images of him with guns, drug taking and drinking.

Meanwhile, friends and family of tragic Adam launched a GoFundMe campaign to try and raise €5,000 to cover his funeral costs.

One pal shared the campaign on social media, writing Can everyone please share this please so Adam can get the send-off he deserves? Fly high Adam.

A statement shared on the page reads As everyone knows poor Adam Muldoon was found brutally murdered in Tallaght, Dublin.

The whole of the Jobstown community is devastated by the loss of such a harmless fella who didn’t have a bad bone in his body.

We are asking for people to donate towards his funeral expenses so we can give him the best send-off that he deserves.

Thanks everybody for your kindness and generosity, it will be very much appreciated.
