George Clooney was honoured with the coveted American Film Institute Life Achievement Award in Hollywood on Thursday night.
The event, held at the Dolby Theatre, was a glamorous affair with the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Bill Murray, Anna Kendrick, Cate Blanchett and Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber in attendance.
The Hollywood actor, 57, was of course accompanied by wife Amal Clooney, who added an injection of colour into the muted red carpet, which featured only back and white looks, in her shimmering pink dress.
The human rights lawyer, 40, wore the flattering off-the-shoulder number, that featured a longer skirt over a shorter thigh-skimming one, with silver heels and kept her accessories to a minimum.
The pair made a gorgeous duo as they posed on the red carpet arm-in-arm before heading inside to celebrate the actor’s impressive career.
Inside, Julia Roberts was on hand to give Oscar-winner George his award.
The actress has collaborated with George in a number of films, including 2001’s Ocean’s Eleven, 2004’s Ocean’s Twelve, and 2016’s Money Monster.
Julia also starred starred in his directorial debut, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, and in 2013 film August Osage County, which he produced.
As he was handed his gong, George sweetly reached over to kiss wife Amal, who looked prouder than ever.
