The high-profile pair tied the knot around midday at their rural property in the Capertree Valley, which sits between Lithgow and Mudgee.

The bubbly reporter wore a dress which has been passed down through three generations of her family including her much-loved grandmother in 1944.

The ornate dress, which featured a floral lace pattern, was finished with a veil that was given to the bride’s great grandmother by her sister for her wedding in 1915.

As has been revealed, the couple ensured the intimate ceremony was made even more special by including family and friends in preparations.

A pal of the pair made the cake, meanwhile, other friends helped with various tasks including picking up vases, flowers, signs and stationary.

The couple said ‘I do’ in front of 160 guests – which included mostly family and friends – and a number of cast and crew from the Sunrise team.

Television personality Larry Emdur was at the ceremony.

Tonight, sixty guests will camp on the property in tan-coloured tents.

Guests were treated to food and wine all sourced locally in Mudgee and the NSW Central Coast – with guests going home with honey from the couple’s farm.

Picturesque! The Morning Show host Larry Emdur shared a snap from the couple’s property earlier today ahead of the ceremony

First meeting at radio station 2GB, the couple have been together for seven years, with Neil getting down on bended knee last April.

Husband Neil, who also works in media, hails from Lithgow which is why the pair wanted to get married in the region.

On Saturday, the couple kept the ceremony low key, with Edwina posting only one shot of herself and her new husband.

‘The best day xxx,’ Edwina captioned the snap.
